Street and Smith’s Sports Business reporter John Ourand joined Damon to discuss his piece that broke news of the dramatic decrease in both viewership and listenership of Sox games in Boston.  John attributed the ratings loss primarily to the lack of star power and teh rough start to the season.

The voice of the Pawsox Dan Hoard joined D.A. to break down the breakout performance of Mike Lowell.  Dan spoke with Damon about the great demeanor of Lowell after the game and how he was happy to revisit his days as a minor leaguer.  Lowell hit 3 homers and made a great statement that he is ready to return to the big’s.

Yahoo! Sports Jeff Passan joined D.A. to discuss the Sox as they enter the trade deadline.  He told Damon that it is insane to think that the Red Sox would ever be sellers at the deadline because the fans would not allow it.  He also stated that the team is still alive for a playoff birth because of the return of their starting five and the players off the D.L.

NFL Networks Michael Lombardi joined the D.A. show to preview the upcoming NFL season and told Damon that the Pats should not be discounted.  He also said that he does not expect either Brady or Manning to be signed prior to the start of the season.
