This season, the Patriots Radio Network has again teamed up with Cubist Pharmaceuticals for the Science Education Leadership Award. For the second season, this important award will once again recognize middle and high school science teachers across New England who show this excellence as leaders in their classroom. Do you know a science teacher that deserves to be recognized?
In 200 words or less, tell us about the teacher you know, and what they do to show leadership and innovation in the classroom in the name of science. Each week of the regular season, we will nominate a winner teacher. Tune into the Patriots game day broadcast on 98.5 The Sports Hub to see if your teacher has been nominated. At the end of the season, one grand prize winning teacher will receive a grant to his/her science department from Cubist Pharmaceuticals, and an appearance from a Patriots alumni player at their school.

The "Voice of the New England Patriots," Gil Santos has articulated the sights, sounds and all the play-by-play action of over 400 games to millions of Patriots fans. Santos began calling games for the Boston Patriots at Fenway Park in 1966. He was the voice of the Patriots for the next 14 season (1966-1979). He returned to the booth in 1991 and has broadcast every Patriots game since then.
Gino Cappelletti first joined the Patriots in 1960. After an 11-year all-star career as a wide receiver and a kicker, he retired as both the franchise's and the AFL's all-time leading scorer with 1,130 points. Gino was re-united with Santos in 1991. Together, the two have developed an on-air rapport that is unrivaled in the NFL, to the delight of Patriots fans everywhere. 
Gary Tanguay offers a steady hand and unique insight to the network's pre and post-game programming. Tanguay is also currently the co-host of Comcast Sports Net Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight. Prior to joining FSN New England, Tanguay worked as a sports anchor/reporter with WBZ-TV (CBS) in Boston.
Scott Zolak spent seven seasons in a Patriots uniform. A 1991 draft pick out of Maryland, Zolak made a splash in his first start for the Pats, leading them to an overtime win over Indianapolis. His final start was even more memorable, as he replaced an injured Drew Bledsoe and helped clinch a playoff spot with a win over San Francisco in 1998. Zolak can be heard on 98.5 The Sports Hub weekdays from 10am to 2pm.

Gresh is a former University of Rhode Island offensive lineman and can be heard weekdays from 10am to 2pm on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
